BURG is holding another book sale, September 1, to raise funds and to let those returning to town know what we're up to. We'll be in front of Gillie's, on College Ave, from 9 AM. We can use more books, and more volunteers! To get involved, contact our fundraising chair, Margaret Breslau.

The Black Twig Pickers will play at the Green Dolphin in Roanoke on Friday, August 31. (Please note: Twig Pickers enthusiasts who are on the fence about going to this show should be advised that this may be the last live music for a while at this venue, since it is unclear whether the new owners of the location will continue to have live music there. )
