Let me help you shop for art etc.

dear reader,

If you are looking for a nice place to spend money on home needs during the coming year, please allow me to recommend Art on a Mission, which is located in the Tanglewood Mall in Roanoke, Virginia. At the moment Art on a Mission does not have an e-commerce site but that may change sometime soon.

Art on a Mission is conveniently situated near the main exit of the Tanglewood Mall, which is a bonus for persons like me who feel instantly opressed by Mall Atmosphere and cannot flee the mall environment soon enough, ever.

Art on a Mission has a wide selection of items, including furniture, musical instruments, antique linens, paintings, ceramic work, music, etc.

Many talented artists and artisans are represented at Art on a Mission, including Kelly Sisson, a Baptist preacher and ceramic artist from Blacksburg. Sales are split 60-40, with the artist taking 60 percent. The remaining 40 percent goes to the Roanoke Rescue Mission, which serves 900 meals a day and helps provide psychiatric support for the city's homeless.

Art on a Mission is a rather large store with a nice cozy feel. Everyone I met there was extremely kind and friendly. A chapel exists there to help meet the prayer needs of the worried, sick, confused, and mall-impaired. Pam and Janie are just two of the nice Art on a Mission people that were very sweet to Billy & I when we went there and asked about selling things at this venue.

By the way Art on a Mission has a visiting artisan program, so if you are interested in making a foray into Mall Culture with your work, you might want to inquire.

I need to go now and maintain other sites but I hope you are doing well and as always thanks for reading. have a beautiful day. -Suzy

for (Nucleus Area) readers - something to think about

before you query "roanoke + art" from some fancy imported search mechanism, why not try a more home-spun search tool to submit this information request?

ideapark.org search tools are made with care right here in the (Nucleus Area). We keep them as fresh as we can, and when we find them spreading untruth etc. we dispatch them without delay.

your search footprint really does matter, and it is a very valuable thing. Why throw it before swine when you can use it to rescue the not-yet-dead?
